These Toilets in Hiroo Higashi Park, Shibuya, TOKYO are designed by Tomohito Ushiro
and part of THE TOKYO TOILET, a project commissioned by Nippon Foundation, are the public toilets that everyone can use.
The latest project is by Tomohito Ushiro whose design includes 768 LED lights which randomly create 7.9 billion patterns (the world's population), illuminating the space and surroundings whilst creating a unique installation that is a hybrid between public art and functional design.
THE TOKYO TOILET project "toilets for all" are designed to meet the needs of a variety of users. They include highchairs and chairs for children, as well as signs giving priority to the elderly and expectant mothers. Once again, TOTO is involved in this project – for even more cleanliness and comfort!
Our client TOTO had the privilege of supplying the bathroom fixtures.
